Resumen
En la época del posterrorismo de ETA, tras el final de la actividad terrorista de la organización, se genera la necesidad de reflexionar sobre la construcción de los relatos de lo que fue y lo que supuso este episodio tan reciente de la historia de España y, especialmente, del País Vasco. Es fundamental analizar las dimensiones sociales y las consecuencias que en la actualidad tiene la “batalla del relato” porque de cómo se narre el terrorismo depende la visión y la interpretación que van a tener las generaciones jóvenes, que no lo han conocido de manera directa. Son los expertos los que, desde el rigor histórico de los hechos y la búsqueda de la verdad, deben construir unos relatos veraces del terrorismo.
Abstract
In the era of ETA’s post-terrorism, after the end of the organization’s terrorist activity, the need arises to reflect on the construction of the stories of what this very recent episode in the history of Spain was and what it meant, and, especially, from the Basque Country. It is essential to analyze the social dimensions and the consequences that the “battle for the story” currently has because the vision and interpretation that young generations, who have not known it directly, will depend on how terrorism is narrated. It is the experts who, based on the historical rigor of the facts and the search for the truth, must construct truthful accounts of terrorism.
