Since 1995, the research team EUSKOBAROMETRO (University of the Basque Country – Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea), led by Professor Francisco J. Llera, has been conducting a regular series of sociological surveys and other studies to understand the political behavior and public opinion of Basque citizens. In this section, we publish a series of tables with results obtained from these studies, related to aspects such as: the Basque population’s sense of freedom to speak about politics, fear of participating actively in politics, attitudes towards ETA in the Basque Country, the public image of ETA members, and the factors that contributed to the end of terrorism in Euskadi.
