Resumen
En el siguiente artículo, los autores analizan el asesinato de taxistas por parte de la banda terrorista ETA. A partir de fuentes primarias, se analiza como los atentados de los taxistas constituyeron una herramienta de control utilizada por la organización terrorista para conseguir someter a la ciudadanía a un régimen de terror. Asimismo, el acoso constante al gremio del taxi fue parte de una estrategia que tuvo como objetivo aislar a los agentes de la Policía y de la Guardia Civil, creando a su alrededor un vacío y una oposición hostil.
Abstract
In the following article, the authors analyse the assassination of taxi drivers by the terrorist group ETA. Based on primary sources, they consider the attacks against these workers as a form of social control through the dissemination of fear to which ETA subjected those members of the public who might have had any contact with the state security forces. Likewise, the constant harassment of the taxi trade was part of a strategy aimed at isolating police officers and the Guardia Civil, creating a vacuum and hostile opposition around them.
