El cine configura una parte muy importante del imaginario social, puede servir de radiograf\u00eda de la sociedad representada y un contraan\u00e1lisis de la misma. Por lo tanto, \u00bfa qu\u00e9 fue debido que tuviera tanto \u00e9xito una comedia sobre las relaciones norte-sur? \u00bfQu\u00e9 factores hist\u00f3ricos influyeron en ellas? \u00bfQu\u00e9 elementos reveladores nos ofrecen una mirada sobre la sociedad vasca y la herencia dejada por el efecto de la violencia de ETA? Nuestro an\u00e1lisis desentra\u00f1ar\u00e1 estas y otras cuestiones relevantes a la hora de valorar el cine como una fuente muy v\u00e1lida de la historia y del conocimiento de la sociedad.<br \/>\n[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<br \/>\n<strong>Abstract<\/strong><br \/>\nThis article intends to analyse the socio-historical keys of the highest box-office earner movie of Spanish cinema \u201cSpanish affair\u201d (Ocho apellidos vascos) related to the Basque conflict and the end of ETA. Cinema shapes a great part of the social imaginary, can be used both as an X-ray of the portrayed society and as a counter-analysis of it. Therefore, why did a comedy about northern-southern relations have such an impact? Which historical factors influenced them? Which revealing elements offer an insight on Basque society and the legacy left behind by the effects of ETA\u00b4s violence?
