El contexto donde cobra sentido la aplicaci\u00f3n del cuerpo doctrinal de referencia, el de las teor\u00edas del <em>Agenda-Setting<\/em>, est\u00e1 circunscrito al conflicto del Pa\u00eds Vasco. En definitiva, lo que se trata de verificar, tras la aplicaci\u00f3n de una metodolog\u00eda escorada a planteamientos cuantitativos, es en qu\u00e9 medida el <em>Acuerdo por las Libertades y en contra del terrorismo<\/em>, firmado por las dos fuerzas pol\u00edticas principales en diciembre de 2000, fue la respuesta pol\u00edtica a un est\u00edmulo medi\u00e1tico.<br \/>\n[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<br \/>\n<strong>Abstract<\/strong><br \/>\nThis study analyses the capacity of mass media in general, and particularly the press, in the complex process of setting the political priorities. The specific context where this theoretical framework of reference (<em>agenda-setting<\/em>) is employed is the Basque conflict.
