\nResumen<\/strong>
\nEn este art\u00edculo profundizamos en la interacci\u00f3n entre sociedad rural y organizaciones pol\u00edticas y sindicales nacionalistas en Galicia y Pa\u00eds Vasco, centr\u00e1ndonos en un tipo espec\u00edfico de conflictividad (la ambiental) y en la movilizaci\u00f3n social surgida en torno a ella. Como caso de estudio tomamos las luchas contra los proyectos de centrales nucleares en el norte de Lugo (Regodela-Xove) y la costa vasca (Deba y Lem\u00f3niz). Se trata de analizar, entre otras cosas, si dichas fuerzas pol\u00edticas y sindicatos nacionalistas intentaron introducirse pol\u00edticamente en el mundo rural con un discurso ecologista a trav\u00e9s de este tipo de conflictos y, a partir de ah\u00ed, analizar c\u00f3mo se construy\u00f3 socialmente la protesta y c\u00f3mo evolucion\u00f3 el propio movimiento social.

\nAbstract<\/strong>
\nOur aim in this article is to know more about the interaction between rural societies and nationalist political parties and trade unions in the Basque Country and Galicia during the political period known as \u00abSpanish Transition\u00bb (1976-1982). The paper mainly focuses on a specific kind of conflicts (environmental conflicts) and on the social mobilization that it provoked into Galician and Basque rural communities. As case study we have chosen the opposition against several projects to set up nuclear power plants in the north of the Galician province of Lugo (power plant of Regodela-Xove) and in the Basque Cantabrian coast (nuclear plants of Deba and Lem\u00f3niz). We analyze if these nationalist parties and unions tried to use this type of protest with electoral objectives and to strengthen their political influence into the Galician and Basque rural contexts, taking part in the conflicts with an ecologist discourse. We also focus on the paths for the social construction of protest inside the rural communities of northern Spain.
