\nEl extremismo nacionalista en el Pa\u00eds Vasco, cuya principal manifestaci\u00f3n es el terrorismo de ETA, ha sido objeto de un amplio abanico de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas, tanto ordinarias como constitucionales. Junto a distintas formas y grados de represi\u00f3n, \u00e9stas comprenden una reestructuraci\u00f3n substancial del Estado y una amplia reasignaci\u00f3n de los recursos p\u00fablicos, derivados de una aproximaci\u00f3n receptiva (responsive) a la resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos. Mediante un dise\u00f1o multivariante, este estudio eval\u00faa los resultados de las principales pol\u00edticas receptivas implementadas. En particular, el an\u00e1lisis demuestra que el establecimiento de instituciones de autogobierno vascas ha mitigado de modo notable el extremismo pol\u00edtico, tanto en lo que se refiere a las actitudes de la poblaci\u00f3n como al terrorismo.

\nAbstract<\/strong>
\nNationalist extremism in the Basque Country, the main manifestation of which is ETA terrorism, has been the target of a wide array of constitutional and ordinary public policies. Together with different forms and degrees of repression, these include the substantial restructuring of the State and the broad reallocation of public resources, which are derived from a responsive approach to conflict resolution. Through a multivariate research design, this study evaluates the outcomes of the main responsive policies that have been implemented. In particular, the analysis shows that the establishment of Basque self-governing institutions has substantially mitigated political extremism, both with respect to the attitudes people and terrorism.
