\nResumen<\/strong>
\nEste art\u00edculo se propone desmentir algunos falsos mitos en torno a las v\u00edctimas del terrorismo, considerando que ellas y toda la sociedad civil pueden\/deben ser actores relevantes y eficaces en la lucha social contra el terrorismo. A trav\u00e9s de conmovedores testimonios de algunas v\u00edctimas de ETA, la investigaci\u00f3n invita a la sociedad espa\u00f1ola, a la pol\u00edtica y a las instituciones democr\u00e1ticas a asumir importantes responsabilidades p\u00fablicas y colectivas frente a los cr\u00edmenes terroristas y a sus v\u00edctimas. Asumir las responsabilidades de deslegitimar la narrativa terrorista, distinguir entre qui\u00e9n es la v\u00edctima del terrorismo y qui\u00e9nes son los verdugos, impedir la impunidad de los terroristas, reconocer plenamente la significaci\u00f3n de las v\u00edctimas ser\u00eda un primer paso para pagar la incompensable deuda moral y colectiva que todos hemos adquirido con las v\u00edctimas del terrorismo.

\nArtikulu honen helburua terrorismoaren biktimei buruzko zenbait mito faltsu gezurtatzea da, horiek eta gizarte zibil osoa terrorismoaren aurkako gizarte-borrokan eragile garrantzitsuak eta eraginkorrak izan daitezkeela edo izan behar dutela kontuan hartuta. ETAren biktimen zenbait testigantza hunkigarriren bidez, ikerketak Espainiako gizartea, politika eta erakunde demokratikoak gonbidatzen ditu ardura publiko eta kolektibo garrantzitsuak onartzera, krimen terroristen eta horien biktimen aurrean. Kontakizun terroristari zilegitasuna kentzeko ardurak onartzea, terrorismoaren biktimak eta gaizkileak nor diren bereiztea, terroristen zigorgabetasuna galaraztea eta biktimen garrantzia erabat aitortzea izango lirateke lehenengo urratsa guztiok terrorismoaren biktimekin dugun zor moral eta kolektibo ordainezina ordaintzeko.

\nAbstract<\/strong>
\nThis article deals with some commonly held false myths about the victims of terrorism; it holds that they, and all of civil society, can\/should be key, active agents of the social fight against terrorism. Through the moving testimony of some victims of ETA, the research presented in the article invites Spanish society, the political class and democratic institutions to assume public and collective responsibilities in the face of terrorist crimes and the victims of such crime. It urges them to assume the responsibility of refusing to give legitimacy to the terrorist narrative, of distinguishing between who is the victim of terrorism and who are the executioners, and of preventing the impunity of terrorists. Fully recognising the meaning of the word victims would be a first step towards paying the moral and collective debt that can never be paid to such victims, but which is a debt that we have all acquired with victims of terrorism.
