\nResumen<\/strong>
\nEl art\u00edculo presenta los resultados de una investigaci\u00f3n, la primera realizada en el Pa\u00eds Vasco, sobre el nivel de conocimiento y los discursos que la poblaci\u00f3n universitaria tiene respecto de las vulneraciones de Derechos Humanos de motivaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica producidas en el pasado reciente de Euskadi. A trav\u00e9s de un cuestionario a casi mil j\u00f3venes de entre 18 y 29 a\u00f1os de grados universitarios de Ciencias Sociales y de la Educaci\u00f3n de la UPV-EHU, Deusto y Mondragon Unibertsitatea y bajo un muestreo no probabil\u00edstico, el estudio muestra un alumnado con un alto inter\u00e9s por estos temas pero insatisfecho respecto de la informaci\u00f3n recibida. Tambi\u00e9n se evidencia un significativo nivel de desconocimiento sobre hechos concretos unido a un compromiso muy alto con la dignidad humana y un n\u00edtido rechazo de la violencia. \nAbstract<\/strong>
\nThe present research shows the main results obtained in a study, the first to the author\u2019s knowledge, regarding students\u2019 knowledge and perspectives concerning infringements of Human Rights due to political reasons in the Basque Country. A sample of almost 1000 students (18-29 years) recruited from the Social Science and Education Degree of three different universities (EHU\/UPV, Deusto and Mondragon Unibertsitatea) took part in the study by completing a self-report questionnaire. Findings indicate that the interest of the participants on this topic is especially remarkable. However, students also show an unsatisfied feeling regarding the information they have received about the topic. In addition, students present a lack of awareness about specific facts that go hand in hand with human dignity and rejection of violence. [vc_empty_space height=”10″]
