\nLa sociedad vasca se enfrenta a un momento especialmente importante: finalizada, como parece, la actividad terrorista, es el momento de evaluar su pasado reciente, de edificar su proyecto de sociedad sobre la base de tener que gestionar y hacer frente a un per\u00edodo especialmente doloroso de su historia, en la que el asesinato y la violencia han formado parte del escenario colectivo. Nada nuevo por otra parte: tras periodos traum\u00e1ticos, toda sociedad se ve en la necesidad de prestar atenci\u00f3n a lo ocurrido, de tratar de extraer las ense\u00f1anzas debidas para evitar caer en los mismos males. Por muchas vueltas que se le d\u00e9, y por muy esc\u00e9pticos que seamos sobre el tema, no cabe duda de la utilidad<\/em> de la historia en la conformaci\u00f3n de la sociedad.
