\nResumen<\/strong>
\nEn la Euskadi de la transici\u00f3n confluy\u00f3 un ciclo de protestas con otro de violencia. Los movimientos sociales \u201cmadrugadores\u201d (el obrero, el vecinal o el estudiantil, ya desde los sesenta) se iniciaron sin una presencia destacada de ETA. Pas\u00f3 algo similar en el surgimiento de los nuevos movimientos sociales (feminista, de gais y lesbianas, antinuclear\u2026), ya en la segunda mitad de los setenta. Ahora bien, el terrorismo termin\u00f3 impactando sobre todos ellos a partir de 1978, con el inicio de los \u201ca\u00f1os de plomo\u201d. Este art\u00edculo toma el caso del movimiento antinuclear para explorar c\u00f3mo y por qu\u00e9 un movimiento social puede verse contaminado por un contexto de intensa violencia pol\u00edtica, pudiendo llegar a ejercer un rol des-democratizador. \nAbstract<\/strong>
\nIn the Basque Country during the Spanish transition to democracy a cycle of protests converged with a cycle of violence. The first social movements (those of workers, students or neighborhood associations, since the sixties) began without a notable presence of ETA. Something similar happened in the emergence of new social movements (feminist, gay and lesbian, antinuclear…) in the second half of the seventies. Now, since 1978 terrorism affected all of them, with the beginning of the \u201cyears of lead\u201d. This article takes the case of the antinuclear movement to explore how and why a social movement can be contaminated by a context of intense political violence, being able to play a de-democratizing role.
