Entre sus obras hay dos, <em>Betizu, el toro rojo<\/em> (1991) y <em>La \u00faltima cena<\/em> (2008), en las que las referencias a la situaci\u00f3n conflictiva causada por el terrorismo de ETA tiene un papel fundamental. Junto a estas dos piezas, existe otra, <em>Interacciones<\/em> (2006), que surgi\u00f3 a ra\u00edz del atentado del 11 de marzo 2004 en Madrid. Estos textos forman un interesante conjunto que permite reflexionar sobre el rendimiento de la tem\u00e1tica terrorista en la teatralidad de Amestoy. [vc_empty_space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<br \/>\n<strong>Abstract<\/strong><br \/>\nThroughout his dramatic career, Ignacio Amestoy has paid especial attention to the social and political context of the Basque region. Two of his works, <em>Betizu, el toro rojo<\/em> (1991) and <em>La \u00faltima cena<\/em> (2008), have explicit references to the conflictive situation caused by ETA\u2019s terrorism. A third work, titled <em>Interacciones<\/em> (2006), appeared after the March 11, 2004 at-tacks in Madrid. Individually and collectively, these three plays reflect an interesting use of terrorism by Amestoy within an artistic context.
