Este es el sentido que se le da en el presente informe: al hablar de cr\u00edmenes no esclarecidos se alude a aquellos cuyos autores materiales no han sido identificados o no han podido ser juzgados por las razones que sea. Incluso si ha habido juicio, pero no ha habido condenas, el crimen sigue pendiente de esclarecimiento legal. Es posible que en algunas ocasiones hayan sido sentenciados colaboradores o c\u00f3mplices de los autores materiales. En estos casos se sigue considerando como asesinato no esclarecido al no haber sido encausados los autores directos.
